PIANOFIELD with Frances Shelley and Matthew Bickerton

Hello Friends, Nils Frahm's event, International Pianoday is coming round again and we would love to invite you to join us! Come and enjoy a gentle Friday evening in celebration of this wonderful instrument at the beautiful space that is Blank 100 in Dalston. It's on Friday April 6th at 7 pm (a little after the actual day but still within range of its glorious reach!)

By means of a range of pianos, keyboards, film and electronic soundscapes, we will be bringing the essence of the countryside to town, playing some of our new pieces for the first time, as well as music from our collection Wing. If you don't know us, this is what the kind people at the last festival we played at (Flipside at Snape Maltings) had to say . . 'live performance of raw human emotions, electronic walls of sound with delicate piano-led melody.'

The beautiful sister band AYA (who are (my daughters I'm very proud to say!) and the extraordinarily talented singer TURAN will also be playing . . it should be a wonderful evening! Bring a cushion and feel free to lie on the floor and relax into your weekend. There will be wine and kombucha!

Tickets start at £7, booking in advance and also be available on the door. (no one will be turned away due to lack of funds!) Profits from the event will be going to my favourite charity Compassion In World Framing

I'm looking forward to it very much and hope to see you there!

Frances
