Curated by Ronan Mckenzie
We are pleased to announce our next exhibition I'M HOME which will be curated by Ronan Mckenzie.
I’M HOME explores ideas of home and family through the works of four Black British Female Photographers. The show collectively presents the work of both established and emerging photographers in a purpose-designed space that non-verbally contextualises the works, and encourages interaction with the space and the artists.
Throughout the course of show, I’M HOME will act as a place of learning, development and conversation by running a programme of events including talks, workshops, dining events and discussions. It will facilitate cultural exchange, encourage intergenerational conversation and enable the sharing of skills.
Events will include; Supper club by OOM with special guests Belinda Zhawi and William Stowe. Supper club by Pops Kitchen - co-hosted by Black In The Day. Interactive workshop with Joy Miessi and Bernice Mulenga. Life drawing hosted by Our Naked Truths, and an evening of film with Eloise King. I’M HOME Library will be curated by Rianna Jade Parker, and interiors designed by Sandra Falase.
